Anti-Bullying Bylaw

At a meeting held at a local school May 7, Chestermere’s City Council passed 1st reading of a brand-new bylaw that will enable law enforcement teams to better address complaints of bullying in Chestermere. The response from the students present at the meeting was very positive.

“We all deserve to live in a community free from abuse and hurtful behavior,” says Mayor Chalmers. “This bylaw helps to ensure that Chestermere is a place of peace and respect for every member of our community.”
